FE Certification 2016
Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination (FE)
Other award・Oct 2016
In 2016, I decided to join the ITPE (Information Technology Passport Examination) program organized by NSTDA (National Science and Technology Development Agency). This international standard exam is designed to measure IT knowledge and skills, and I joined to evaluate my own abilities and to improve my career opportunities both in Thailand and abroad.
After the exam, I passed the Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination (FE) — which is Level 2 out of 3 levels in the ITPE program. This level proves that I have basic fundamental knowledge and skills that able to perform tasks with a certain degree of difficulty or part of the required tasks on their own.[1]
In that round, only 9 people in Thailand passed the FE exam. I was one of the top scorers and was qualified to be a candidate for the ITPEC Ambassador interview under the Top Gun Training program, which includes a 10-day training trip to Japan. Each year, only 2 selected candidates per country receive this opportunity. Unfortunately, after the interview with NSTDA, the committee selected another candidate who was more suitable. Even though I was not selected, this experience motivated me to continue improving my IT skills.
