The National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), organized the KidBright Hackathon 2019 for the first time in Thailand. The competition challenged participants to develop both hardware and software using the KidBright board in a continuous 40-hour hackathon, held during January 11st–13rd, 2019 at the Sirindhorn Science Home, NSTDA, Pathum Thani.[1]
I teamed up with students from Phuket, who specialized in extension board programming and MQTT protocol, to form Team NamPrikKungSieb (ทีมน้ำพริกกุ้งเสียบ). We created a project called “สร้างบ้านด้วยมือ”(Do House Yourself), which combined a 3D mobile game in a virtual world with IoT devices to be used as an educational tool in classrooms.
